Same 460 cc head size, same 9°/10.5°/12° lofts, same 45.5" length, same 59° lie, same ±2° hosel. On published specs these two are the same club with a different badge, and the OPTM MAX-K costs $599 new.
There is one difference, and it goes the wrong way for the new model: Cobra's OPTM MAX-K page says its weight is fixed. For the DS-ADAPT MAX-K, Cobra doesn't describe the head weighting at all, so we record that as not available rather than assume you can move it. Either way, nothing on the new page gives you an adjustment you don't already have.
Both are sold on forgiveness. Cobra quoted a combined MOI of 10,000 for the DS-ADAPT MAX-K and now calls the OPTM MAX-K its highest-MOI driver to date, without publishing a figure for it. We don't put unnumbered superlatives in a verdict.
