How to find your club's model
Almost every club has its model name printed on it. Where to look:
- Driver, fairway wood, hybrid
- Turn it over: the sole usually shows the brand and model. Some also print it on the crown or near the hosel.
- Irons
- The back of the head (the cavity or badge) shows the model. The number on the sole is the club (7 = 7-iron), not the model.
- Putter
- Check the sole and the back of the head. Many putters also print the model on the shaft sticker or headcover.
- The shaft band
- The label on the shaft names the shaft, not the club. Useful, but it won't tell you the model.
