Two takes on removing torque from the stroke, at two very different prices.
The MEZZ.1 MAX is a mid-mallet: Lie Angle Balanced, 6061 aluminium with a 303 stainless centre section, a milled face and no insert, 2.5° of loft and a 69° lie, with L.A.B.'s Press II 1.5 grip. Odyssey's Square 2 Square TRI-HOT Rossie is a full mallet at 365 g, built with more than 140 g of tungsten, an Ai-DUAL insert, 3.0° of loft and a 70° lie, and a shaft set at the heel. Odyssey publishes "90° toe up" for its balance; L.A.B. states Lie Angle Balance.
The Odyssey is right-handed only in this build; the MEZZ.1 MAX comes both ways. Lengths match at 33", 34" and 35".
