Nine clubs, nine identical lofts: 19°, 22.5°, 26°, 29.5°, 33° at the 7, 37°, 41°, 45° at the pitching wedge and 50° at the gap wedge. Both right and left handed. On PING's own spec tables, this is the same set.
The i240 page states a forged construction and tungsten weighting; the i230 page doesn't say either way, so those rows are not available on your side rather than a "No" we can't back up. PING doesn't publish prices or mark a stock shaft for either, so those cells are empty too.
PING's claim for the i240 is a more premium forged feel. Feel is real and worth having — it is also exactly the kind of thing that no spec sheet can settle, and no verdict of ours should.
Our read: keep the i230. If the i240 feels better to you in a fitting bay, that is a legitimate reason to buy clubs, but it is your hands deciding, not a spec. Nothing in what PING publishes gives the i240 a club, a loft or a length your set doesn't already have.
