Our take Our assessment (based on published specs)
Two generations apart, and on paper they are close to identical: both 460 cc, both 45.75" standard, both with the same ±2° loft sleeve, and both sold in 9°, 10.5° and 12° for right and left handers.
The one fact that changes anything is the 8° head. The Qi4D adds it; the Qi10 doesn't. If you already tee it low and the 9° Qi10 still spins too much for you, that's a real reason to look. Everything else TaylorMade says about the Qi4D — the moveable TAS weights raising MOI, the carbon face transferring speed — is the brand's own claim, and it doesn't come with a number we can compare against the Qi10.
Price is the other side of it. The Qi4D launched at $649.99; TaylorMade no longer publishes what the Qi10 cost new, so the fairest way to read this is: you would be paying $650 for a head that, on published specs, adjusts the same way yours does.
