The 13.5° is gone, and the price went up $50. Titleist listed the TSR3 fairway in 13.5°, 15°, 16.5° and 18°. The GT3 starts at 15°. If you played the 13.5° as a driver alternative off the tee, the GT3 line has no head that replaces it, and that is the one difference here that cannot be adjusted around.
Titleist's own MSRP went from $349 to $399. Both numbers come from Titleist, not a retailer.
The adjustability is the same, and it is the reason people buy a 3 rather than a 2: both clubs carry the movable weight and the weight track, both have the adjustable hosel, both are 43" at 56.5° lie, both right and left handed. Between 15° and 18° you are choosing between two clubs that set up the same way.
One thing worth knowing about the data itself: Titleist published no head volume for the TSR3 and publishes 177 cc for the GT3, so we cannot tell you whether the head grew, shrank or stayed put. That is a blank on Titleist's page, not a measurement we skipped. Titleist also publishes no hosel adjustment range for either club, so that row is empty on both sides.
The stock shaft menu was refreshed — HZRDUS Red CB and Tensei AV Blue on the TSR3, Denali Red and Tensei 1K Blue on the GT3 — four no-upcharge options either way.
Our read: keep the TSR3. Same length, same lie, same weight track, same hosel, and it has a loft the new line dropped. Unless a fitter puts you in the GT3 head on a launch monitor, $50 more for a shorter loft menu is not a reason to move.
