Our take Our assessment (based on published specs)

Same lofts, same length, same lie — the OPTM MAX adds a movable weight and 5 cc. Cobra lists both fairways in 15.5°, 18.5°, 21.5° and 24.5°, labelled 3, 5, 7 and 9. Both are 43.25" at the 3-wood with a 58.5° lie. Both use the same ±2° adjustable hosel and come right and left handed. If you are hoping the new one fills a gap the old one didn't, it doesn't: the loft ladder is identical, rung for rung.
What changed is the head. 177 cc to 182 cc, and the OPTM MAX page lists a movable weight where the DS-ADAPT MAX page lists none. Cobra describes no weight track on either. Five cubic centimetres is not something you will notice at address; a movable weight is either a tool you will use or a feature you will never touch, and you know which you are.
The stock shaft moved from True Temper Denali Red 50 to Mitsubishi Kai'li Dark Waves Red 50 — same 50-gram class, different maker.
Cobra publishes $369 for the OPTM MAX and publishes no price on the DS-ADAPT MAX page. That is a gap in Cobra's own page, not a number we are estimating, and it means we cannot tell you what the difference costs.
Our read: keep the DS-ADAPT MAX unless you will genuinely use the weight. Every number that decides where the ball starts — loft, length, lie — is the same on both clubs.
