Our take Our assessment (based on published specs)
FlightScope says the Mevo+ is in its final sales phase; it is on sale at $1,099 (regular $2,299). The Mevo Gen2 launched in August 2025 at $1,199 and is now $1,299.
Room: FlightScope asks for 8 ft from the ball to the net and 8 ft behind the ball for the Gen2, about 16 ft. For the Mevo+, its page gives two different indoor setups; using the more demanding one, about 21 ft.
Technology and spin: the Gen2 combines Doppler radar with high-speed optics, and FlightScope says it captures measured data with no calculated estimates. For the Mevo+, FlightScope promises accurate spin indoors but doesn't say whether it is measured or calculated. Both need aluminum stickers or RCT balls indoors.
Included courses: 8 E6 Connect courses for life with the Gen2, a 12-course E6 license with the Mevo+. Club path and face angle need the one-time Pro Package ($599 on sale, regular $1,000), which FlightScope sells for both.
Our read: for $200 more, the Gen2 is the current model, needs less room and its maker states measured data. The Mevo+ only makes sense if the four extra courses matter more to you than that. We haven't tested either unit; this is based on published specs.
