Same shape, same brand, two generations apart, and the published numbers move in a direction worth noticing.
The Ai-ONE #1 has 47° of toe hang; the Ai-DUAL #1 has 40°. Both are crank-hosel blades at 3.0° of loft and 70° of lie, in 33", 34" and 35", both hands. Head weight goes from 355 g to 350 g.
The face is the headline: the Ai-ONE's insert is a contoured aluminium backer behind a White Hot urethane face, while the Ai-DUAL uses two layers, a soft urethane outer over a firm inner. Both are Odyssey's own descriptions, and neither is something we've tested.
Price went from $299.99 to $349.99 at launch.
