Two blades that look similar from above and are built on different ideas. The Newport 2 is 303 stainless steel with a Studio Carbon Steel insert and an I-beam plumbing neck; Odyssey's Ai-DUAL #1 uses a crank hosel and a two-layer insert, soft urethane over a firmer core.
The number that matters most here is toe hang. Odyssey publishes 40° for the Ai-DUAL #1 — a figure aimed at a stroke with real face rotation. Scotty Cameron doesn't publish degrees; it grades toe flow, and the Newport 2 is "medium". Those are two different scales, and we don't convert one into the other.
