Our take Our assessment (based on published specs)
The Mevo+ is on sale at $1,099 (regular $2,299) and FlightScope says it is in its final sales phase, replaced by the Mevo Gen2 at $1,299. The MLM2PRO is $599.99 on Rapsodo's store.
Room: both sit behind the ball. Rapsodo asks for 8 ft to the net plus 6.5 ft behind the ball, about 14.5 ft. FlightScope's page gives two different indoor setups; using the more demanding one, the Mevo+ needs about 21 ft.
Spin: Rapsodo says the MLM2PRO measures spin with its cameras, but only with RPT balls ($69.99 a dozen) and a Premium membership ($199.99 a year). FlightScope says the Mevo+ needs metallic stickers or RCT balls indoors for accurate spin, but doesn't say whether spin is measured or calculated.
Courses: the Mevo+ includes a 12-course E6 Connect license. Rapsodo's 30,000+ courses need Premium.
Our read: the MLM2PRO costs about $500 less, needs less room and is its maker's current model. The Mevo+ makes sense only if the included courses and Windows PC support matter to you, and at that point the Mevo Gen2 deserves a look. We haven't tested either unit; this is based on published specs.
