Neither brand gives us much to work with here: no prices, no construction details, and no stock shaft listed for the G440. What we do have is lofts, and they point the opposite way from most upgrade stories.
The G440 7-iron is 1° weaker than yours (29° against 28°) and a quarter-inch shorter (37" against 37.25"). Expect it to fly shorter with that club, by design. The G440 is weaker from the 4-iron through the 8-iron, by as much as 1.5° at the 6-iron, matches you at the 9-iron (37°), and only its PW (42°) and GW (47°) are a degree stronger than your PW and AW.
Your Qi set also reaches further down: TaylorMade publishes a 54° SW and a 59° LW, and the G440 line-up stops at the gap wedge. PING says the G440's more flexible face and low, back CG add ball speed; that's PING's claim, and nothing here measures it against your Qi.
Moving between brands is mostly about fit and feel, which specs can't settle, so if you're curious, hit both on a launch monitor at a fitting.
