Here is a case where the newer set is the weaker-lofted one. The Quantum Max 7-iron is 29°; your Paradym Ai Smoke 7-iron is 28°. Same pitching wedge (42°), same 37.25" length, same 4-iron through sand wedge line-up, both hands.
That one degree matters less than it sounds — a fitter can bend either — but it does mean the new set is not going to be the "longer" one with the club in your hand. Callaway's own case for the Quantum Max is about keeping ball speed and spin steadier on mishits, which is a claim we can't check and don't put in a verdict.
Price: Callaway published $999.99 for the Paradym Ai Smoke stock set. For Quantum it only said the family starts at $1,149.99, and the individual pages show sale prices, so we leave the Quantum Max cell empty rather than pass a discount off as a launch price.
